DISRUPTION PHENOTYPE |
Hermaphrodites have an egg laying defective phenotype and a reduced brood size (PubMed:9834196). They display a protruding vulva phenotype and there is a failure of anchor cells to fuse to uterine seam cells (anchor cell-block) (PubMed:9834196). Animals also have defective vulval morphogenesis and gonad migration with increased pi cell divisions, which thus leads to an improper uterine-vulval connection (PubMed:9834196, PubMed:14668410). Defective response to CO(2) sensing (PubMed:23671427). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:14668410, ECO:0000269|PubMed:23671427}. |
