Craniofacial cartilage and bone defects, characterized by shortening and hypoplastic nature of the cartilage elements and disruption of the posterior ceratobranchial cartilages (PubMed:30424580). Morpholino knockdown of kat2a and kat2b leads to impaired heart and limb development.
